Take a Peek Behind the Scenes at Our Queens Summer Camps
Queens loves Camp CinemaKidz
Serving 6,000+ students each year in NYC, Greater Boston, and Queens, with over 70 5-star Reviews
My son Christian had such a nice time at CinemaKidz at queensboro college this summer! Christian did video game design the first week, where he designed his own video game with a friend he met at camp. They really enjoyed making it together! And then he did adventures in animation the second week where he learned how to animate his drawings. I really enjoyed coming at the end of each week to see what the kids created! They did a whole ceremony on a big screen so us parents could see what they created, and each child got a different award for one of their strengths! I was extremely impressed at his creativity and how much he was able to learn and put together in one week! And to see my sons confidence in his work, and how proud he was of his animation and game really moved me and made me feel like I made the right decision for this summers activities! I can’t wait to see what they do next summer! - Genna, 2024
My 12 y.o. son went for a week and had an absolutely wonderful time. I was so impressed that they went around the city - filming on subways, on the Brooklyn Bridge and elsewhere. He was excited each night we picked him up. Next year for sure - and longer!

I can't sing enough praise for Cinema Kidz! My 13 yo's imagination has been unleashed this summer! Our kid is neurodivergent and from the get go the staff at CinemaKidz were genuinely asking for tips and feedback for how to adapt and include him in ways that work. By the second day he was joking with his counselors and he made some great friends with other kids, which is to say the least not always easy for him. Beyond that the equipment and programs he was introduced to were great and the movie they made was funny and highly entertaining. For kids of all ages and especially neurodivergent kids, this is a fantastic program! Thank you! - Shane, 2024
